If you have any queries please raise these immediately with FlooringPro staff. If you have given us measurements, you are responsible for all measurements you give to us , except where we have surveyed the relevant parts of the property and supplied or confirmed the measurements.
Please check that the goods you receive are the ones you ordered, the correct colour and size at the time of delivery and before installation/ assembly. If on inspection you have any doubts please raise them with the fitting staff and we will deal with the issues in good faith. Please ensure the goods are examined for apparent faults or damage. In all cases genuine complaints will be dealt with as soon as possible. All delivery and fitting dates are estimates given in good faith.
Full payment must be received on completion of installation. If for any reason we do not receive full payment you will be held liable and legal action will be taken.
Floor coverings and Fitting
We have our own team of fitters and installers. We retain full responsibility for the products and services we supply and FlooringPro is responsible for the standard and quality of, and any liability arising from, delivery and/or installation. Delivery and fitting is chargeable and where carpets are to be fitted to stairs and/or vinyl or laminate flooring is to be fitted to a hallway an additional charge is made to reflect the additional fitting work involved in these areas. These charges will be present in the invoice. If you require additional fitting services these can be agreed with the fitter at the time and quoted for separately. Fitters undertake to carry out their work with reasonable skill and care, but even with the greatest care home decor may be marked or scuffed during the fitting process. New paintwork and wallpaper is especially vulnerable and should be allowed to fully dry. A minimum of two weeks is recommended. Neither we nor any fitter undertake to carry out any redecoration, except where damage has been caused by that person’s negligence. Doors may need to be trimmed to allow clearance. This is not part of the fitting work unless this has been specifically agreed, but the door may be trimmed at a small fee on the day. Fitters may remove doors to facilitate fitting but will refit them after they have been trimmed.

Once you have chosen your new flooring and organised all the accessories and underlay, it’s so important to make sure it’s fitted with love and care. If you have purchased your flooring, accessories and underlay from us, along with our delivery and let us arrange your fitter, then you will qualify for the 1 year fitting guarantee. The 1 year fitting guarantee only applies with the full purchase of the Flooring, Accessories and Delivery Package. In this instance you qualify for the 1-year fitting guarantee and we will guarantee your satisfaction for 1 year from the date on your invoice. Please keep your receipt for proof of purchase. Flooring must stay in the original location and not be moved or tampered with and should be used only according to our recommendations. We accept no responsibility for any product warranty and guarantees.
The samples we display in our consultations are intended to give a general impression of the colour and pattern. When fitted to a larger area some patterns and random blends of yarn can have an inherently striped effect, or additional patterns and colours which may not be obvious from the sample. Colours vary from batch to batch and exact matching between separate pieces (especially 4m and 5m rolls) cannot be guaranteed. All carpets are cut at 10cm intervals. If your room is close to the nominal width of the carpet please allow extra in case a join is required. During transportation and storage, carpets may become slightly crushed and this will show as shaded bands across the pile. These will disappear as the carpet settles in to its new environment and as the pile is flexed through regular use and vacuum cleaning. Carpet is a soft, luxurious product and flattening of the carpet will occur over time. Flattening will change the apparent colour of the carpet and may appear to be random, but this is not a fault, just a sign of use and wear. All carpets benefit from the use of a good quality underlay (Re-using existing underlay may result in abnormal flattening of the pile). Gripper pins can be felt through a carpet close to skirting boards and stair risers, etc. This is normal, but as part of the fitting process and if requested to do so the fitter can flatten the pins. This will affect whether or not the gripper can be re-used.
Vinyl floor coverings should not be laid on top of existing vinyl flooring or tiles. Areas over 15 square metres should be fully stuck down using a suitable adhesive. All vinyls are cut at 10cm. If your room is close to the nominal width of the vinyl please allow extra material.
Laminate flooring will be affected by moisture. Follow the manufacturers fitting and maintenance instructions carefully to prevent swelling of the joints or other moisture related problems.
FlooringPro dedicates itself to beating any high street price. By high street price we mean companies that's main trade is flooring and have over 5 stores within the UK. Our promise is only applicable to certain goods. We retain the right to not adhere to this promise, but on average, our prices will be cheaper than high street alternatives.
We are responsible for ensuring that the goods we supply are of satisfactory quality, conform to the sample and are fit for the purpose for which they are sold. Certain products have additional guarantees provided by us or the manufacturer. Where they are provided by the manufacturer, we accept no responsibility for these additional warranties or guarantees.
Cancellations and Refunds
This order is a legally binding contract even if you have only paid a deposit. Cancellation of orders is not accepted unless we are in breach of the contract or you otherwise have a right to cancel. The processing of your order begins as soon as the invoice is sent. If a cancellation is made, we reserve the right to charge you for any goods we have purchased with intent to use in your order. Refunds are made to the person named on the sales invoice.
Flooring Pro Ltd do not operate a change of mind policy. Once an order has been placed, we are unable to cancel that order due to you as a customer no longer requiring it.
Credit notes are valid for 6 months.
All our consultations will be free and we hold no responsibility on the advice given by our consultants. The quotes given by consultants are subject to change and are valid for 7 days after submission, only when the invoice has been signed the price is fixed, however if our fitters find they cannot install due to faults within the property (un-level floor, door trimming), they reserve the right to charge extra to remedy the faults.
